I think that it won't be wise for the Government to bow to the shenanigans of Dr Kublalsingh. The Government will be setting a bad precedent if he adheres to his pressure tactics to get his own way.It may seem to be a noble thing to do but he is behaving like a child trying to get his own way by rebelling. If he chooses not to eat that's his privilege and right not to do so.
The Government also has the right to carry on with their project that will benefit the people of T&T.No man is an island and no one should stand in the way of progress for their own selfish means.I support the Government on their stand and hope that they don't bow to pressure from Dr Kublalsingh or any other group who would use his fast to gain political mileage.
If they give in to this farce it will show weakness and others will follow and try to make it impossible to get anything done which would benefit our citizens. Let him fast if he wants to; it's just a ploy.
