Local and international carnival lovers will have an opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the recently concluded Carnival in the world's entertainment capital, Hollywood, California
Entertainment Lawyer Carla Parris and her team recently returned from Hollywood and have produced a web series, “The Business of Carnival” that promises to provide audiences unique insight into what Hollywood Carnival is all about.
In a release, Parris said two of the episodes will be interviews with Hollywood carnival industry leaders and 1 episode features a recap of the carnival experience.
On Hollywood Carnival, Parris explained: "I am beyond ecstatic to have been provided with the opportunity by my corporate brand partners Paul Mitchell & C15 studios to enter the Hollywood market. It was exciting to see Caribbean culture being portrayed in the streets and parts of Los Angeles traditionally associated with American culture"
"Through this new series, the first of its kind, my team and I are proud to position Caribbean creatives as business persons who recognize the importance of law, business and structure to the growth of the entertainment industry across the Caribbean region" said Parris.
She pointed out that since the series premièred in January 2018, it has gained an over 150,000 lifetime reach across its various social media platforms of Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.
The first episode, featuring a recap of the Hollywood Carnival was released recently on the Business of Carnival IGTV.
Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival has long been replicated throughout the diaspora and across the Caribbean.
The series is a talk show which features many of the Caribbean’s celebrity & industry leaders and is designed to educate the show’s guests and viewers on the legal and business aspects of carnival and the wider entertainment sector.
