T&T volleyballers fell to Mexico to miss out on the ninth spot in the 18th Women's Pan American Cup, losing 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-8) in the penultimate game at the Chiclayo headquarters, Peru on Saturday evening.
Kiune Fletcher and Destiny Leon were best for T&T scoring seven each. For Mexico, Kathya Garcia with 15 points for the best for Mexico, for 14 by Alejandra Segura, while Paloma Gutierrez contributed nine.
The Mexicans were superior in attack 36-20 and in service 12-1, while in blocking it was exceeded 5-6, committing 11 errors by 22 of its opponents.
