A 15-year-old boy was one of three people killed by masked gunmen dressed in clothes resembling police uniforms, early on Thursday morning in Arima.
The homicide victims have been identified as 15-year-old Jordan Archibald, 19-year-old Nyron Samuel, and 16-year-old Dimitri Archibald.
A fourth person—28 year old Marlon Cust—was also shot and wounded, and currently is warded at hospital.
According to police reports, at 1:45 am, police got information about a shooting which had taken place at #1031 Mauler Street, off Demerara Road, Arima.
Officers of the Arima Police Station, Pinto Police Station and ERP 51 responded.
Upon arrival at the scene, they saw four men lying on the floor in the house located there.
Police were told that a white X-Trail pulled up at the home and occupants dressed in police uniform, with masks over their faces, exited the vehicle and opened fired at the victims. They then drove off.
Police officers are on the lookout for the vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing.
