It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved cousin David McKenzie Charles at his home is Little Burgundy Montreal at the age of 88, on January 10th, 2026. Born in Trinidad and Tobago on February 21st, 1937, David was the beloved son and only child of the late Gladys and Paul Charles and grandson of Alexandrina and David Charles. He was a dedicated teacher, a passionate pan enthusiast, playing with Invaders Steel Orchestra and talented composer and musician who played the harmonica, piano, organ, guitar and pans. David was a kind and generous soul, loving son, Godfather, nephew, cousin, husband, avid writer and faithful friend to many. His warm smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving cousins and friends. A funeral was held on February 21st, 2026 at Union United Church, Delise Street Montreal followed by his interment besides his mother in Mt Royal Cemetery in Canada. May he Rest In Blessed Peace.

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13th, 2026. Nena is survived by her devoted sons, Shaun and Christopher, who will forever cherish her guidance, her strength, and her unwavering love. She also leaves behind her caring daughters-in-law, Mala and Nina, whom she welcomed wholeheartedly into the family and loved as her own. Her grandsons, Aidan and Luke, brought immeasurable joy to her life. She treasured every moment spent with them—their laughter, their achievements, and their unique personalities that always brightened her days. Nena is also survived by her sister, Myrle, with whom she shared a lifetime bond filled with memories, support, and deep affection. She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle presence, and the love she offered so freely to those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
