Officers of the Crown Point Police station arrested 20 persons for breaching the Public Health Regulations in Tobago, on Monday 25th May, 2020.
According to official police reports, the officers received information of a gathering at “No Man’s Land”.
The officers then proceeded to “No Man’s Land” and reportedly found 16 adults and four children bathing, grilling fish, and cooking other meats. Police also found a cooler filled with drinks. The 20 persons reportedly were all gathered together.
The children found at the scene ranged in ages from 14 years to 16 years. The police officers informed them of the breach of the Regulations and cautioned them.
All other persons were arrested and are expected to appear at the Scarborough Magistrates' Court, today.
