Residents of Central Park in Balmain say dust coming from a nearby construction site is creating a plethora of problems for them.
Larry Ousman, spokesman for the residents, told Guardian Media the land was acquired by the Baptist Church for a car park. He said instead of a carpark, however, it appears that a number of commercial buildings are going up.
Ousman said the residents contacted the Baptist church who assured them that things would be sorted out but plans reportedly changed and bulldozers came in and cleared the land, creating dust and noise.

He said part of the area that was destroyed served as a buffer for dust and noise.
Ousman said residents want answers and believe that the church is ducking them.
Councillor for the area, Arlene Solomon-Ramesar, said she wants the Environmental Management Agency to step in.
