Paediatric registrar at the hospital, Dr Gooding-Dilbar, said births are extra special on New Year’s Day.
“One of the privileges of being a paediatrician is being in the presence of a new delivery, which symbolises new hope, being in the presence of a new live birth, especially so for a New Year’s delivery.
“It signifies new hope, new meaning, a new beginning, so it’s most joyful to be present here for the delivery of these three beautiful babies,” she said.
The Sangre Grande Hospital welcomed three New Year’s babies.
