Four of the officers involved in a now-controversial traffic stop with the Police Commissioner's daughter and son-in-law have been transferred from the Couva CID.
Senior police sources told Guardian Media two of the officers were transferred to the Freeport Police Station, one to the Cunupia Police Station, and the other to the Chaguanas Police Station.
Guardian Media was told two of the officers were transferred when they reported for duty at the Couva Police Station on Tuesday.
The other two were transferred on Friday morning when they reported for duty at the Couva Police Station.
The source said officers are questioning the reason for the transfers.
