Bail in the sum of $150,000 has been granted to a woman who allegedly stole $2,763 worth of snacks and beverages by trick.
Indera Solomon, a mother of five, reappeared virtually before San Fernando Senior Magistrate Indrani Cedeno having been denied bail last week.
It is alleged that she ordered a number of snacks and beverages from Ace’s Wholesale and Retail Store in La Romaine and sent a text purportedly showing that she made the payment to the business bank account.
She collected the items on January 24.
However, it is alleged that no payment was made to the account.
PC Morris charged Solomon on October 12 with larceny trick. Prosecutor Cleyon Seedan had initially objected to bail.
However, Solomon’s attorney Jason Jackson made an application for bail.
The matter was adjourned to November 4.
