Penta Paints has partnered with the National Carnival Commission (NCC) to repaint some walls in Woodbrook that were left stained following this year’s J’Ouvert celebrations.
NCC officials joined with volunteers from ANSA Coatings Limited early yesterday morning to paint the walls of six buildings that were previously identified.
Speaking with Guardian Media as they painted the walls of Eshe’s Learning Centre, which is located along Ariapita Avenue and caters to children with learning disabilities, Penta Brand Manager Zara Moniz explained that the initiative was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
“We have been doing a lot of work pushing our body paint in J’Ouvert parties for the entire Carnival season, and now it is our duty, as part of our corporate social responsibility, to come and paint the areas most affected by the J’Ouvert festivities,” Moniz said.
“We are reminding T&T and the Caribbean why Penta is the people’s paint,” she added.
