Naparima College got a brace from Ezekiel Kezar which got the defence of their titles, off to a perfect start with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over St Mary's College at their Lewis Street, San Fernando ground on Wednesday.
However, they will have to wait until Monday to find out if their result will stand, after a breach in the use of the official Joma uniform, appeared to have been altered by the use of their personal sponsor Tiger Tank, which appeared bold on the front of their jerseys instead of key sponsor Digicel.
But with the players ignorant of what was taking place at the administrative level, Seon Shippley drilled in a third goal to secure his team's first win of the season, much to the delight of their fans.
East Mucrapo and Presentation College (San Fernando) were the biggest winners on the night, both hammering Queen's Royal College (QRC) and Trinity College Moka 6-0 respectively. At Fatima College Ground in Mucurapo, Malachai Celestine led the way for East Mucurapo with a hat-trick of goals in the 15th, 33rd and 41st minutes, while Zion Mc Leod added a double in the 81st and the third minute in time added on.
Jaheim Patrick rounded off the scoring for the dominant East Mucurapo outfit with his item, in the 22nd minute.
Meanwhile, Malick returned to the top flight schools league with a comprehensive 5-0 triumph over Speyside in Tobago. Mamade Guerra led the way with a hat-trick and Zion Carpette and Jabari Williams got the other goals in their winning effort.
