?The body of a Ger­man en­gi­neer was dis­cov­ered in a shal­low grave at his Ba­co­let Cres­cent, To­ba­go, home around 5 pm yes­ter­day. Re­ports in­di­cate that Pe­ter Taut, 56, who had been liv­ing in the area for some time, was re­port­ed miss­ing. A search by po­lice of Taut's res­i­dence re­vealed a grave in his front yard. Taut lived ten hous­es away from British cou­ple, Pe­ter Greene, 65, and his wife Muri­um, 59, who were chopped about their bod­ies while rest­ing at their Ba­co­let Cres­cent home, last Au­gust 1.

Up to last night, po­lice were on the scene at Taut's home with a back­hoe.

His ap­par­ent killing brings to 11 the num­ber of mur­ders on the sis­ter is­land for the year. Taut's body was dis­cov­ered sev­en miles from where Swedish cou­ple, An­na Sundsval, 62, and Oke Ol­soon, 73, were killed last year in a sim­i­lar at­tack.
