"I don't think this is the end of it. This is the end of the be­gin­ning." These were the words of Diego Mar­tin West MP Dr Kei­th Row­ley last night, on hear­ing of the res­ig­na­tion, yes­ter­day, of Calder Hart. Row­ley, who had called for Hart's re­moval sev­er­al months ago, said: "I am very hap­py that he has done it." Row­ley said giv­en what was now in the pub­lic do­main about how Ude­cott's busi­ness was con­duct­ed, "I think he has done the de­cent thing to re­move him­self."
