Members of the T&T swim team was presented with their official KISS Healthy Balance team polo shirts from KISS Baking Company's marketing manager, Rene de Gannes, recently. The reigning Caribbean Island Swimming Championships (CISC) champion will defend their title in Cuba over a week-long period. The team, comprising 47 swimmers, will departed Piarco yesterday for Havana, Cuba and will be accompanied by eight officials, five coaches, team manager Gary Morales and two chaperons.
Head Coach Mark Pouchet has added four of the country's top foreign-based youth swimmers, Keegan Boison, Tyler Martin, Christian Homer and Samantha Rahael to the team in a bid to successfully defend the title. The Trinidad and Tobago Swim Team is also the reigning Carifta Champions.
De Gannes offered words of encouragement to the team on behalf of KISS Baking Company stating, "KISS is pleased to be associated with the T&T National Swim Team through its Healthy Balance Whole Grain Bread range which is a critical component of the preparation and projected success of the national team at the championships."
