Mem­bers of the T&T swim team was pre­sent­ed with their of­fi­cial KISS Healthy Bal­ance team po­lo shirts from KISS Bak­ing Com­pa­ny's mar­ket­ing man­ag­er, Rene de Gannes, re­cent­ly. The reign­ing Caribbean Is­land Swim­ming Cham­pi­onships (CISC) cham­pi­on will de­fend their ti­tle in Cu­ba over a week-long pe­ri­od. The team, com­pris­ing 47 swim­mers, will de­part­ed Pi­ar­co yes­ter­day for Ha­vana, Cu­ba and will be ac­com­pa­nied by eight of­fi­cials, five coach­es, team man­ag­er Gary Morales and two chap­er­ons.

Head Coach Mark Pouchet has added four of the coun­try's top for­eign-based youth swim­mers, Kee­gan Boi­son, Tyler Mar­tin, Chris­t­ian Homer and Saman­tha Ra­hael to the team in a bid to suc­cess­ful­ly de­fend the ti­tle. The Trinidad and To­ba­go Swim Team is al­so the reign­ing Carif­ta Cham­pi­ons.

De Gannes of­fered words of en­cour­age­ment to the team on be­half of KISS Bak­ing Com­pa­ny stat­ing, "KISS is pleased to be as­so­ci­at­ed with the T&T Na­tion­al Swim Team through its Healthy Bal­ance Whole Grain Bread range which is a crit­i­cal com­po­nent of the prepa­ra­tion and pro­ject­ed suc­cess of the na­tion­al team at the cham­pi­onships."
