Guardian colum­nist Tony Fras­er, Law As­so­ci­a­tion pres­i­dent Mar­tin Daly SC and for­mer head of the Pub­lic Ser­vice, Regi­nald Du­mas are among the fa­cil­i­ta­tors at a four-day Gov­ern­ment work­shop at Co­co Reef Ho­tel, To­ba­go. A re­lease from the Gov­ern­ment's press sec­re­tary Garvin Nicholas said the work­shop would be­gin to­day af­ter the Cab­i­net meet­ing at the same venue. It ends on Sun­day.

Fras­er would speak on the top­ic Gov­ern­ment and Me­dia Re­la­tions; Daly on the top­ic Sep­a­ra­tion of Pow­ers be­tween the Ex­ec­u­tive, the Ju­di­cia­ry and the Leg­is­la­ture and Du­mas on Gov­er­nance for an ef­fec­tive and high per­for­mance Pub­lic Ser­vice.

Among the oth­er fa­cil­i­ta­tors are Joan Mas­si­ah, who, the state­ment said, would deal with Pro­to­col and Dr Daniel Shapiro who will speak on Art of Ne­go­ti­a­tion, Ne­go­ti­at­ing and Get­ting to Yes. It is the first work­shop by the new Peo­ple's Part­ner­ship Gov­ern­ment since it as­sumed of­fice af­ter the May 24 gen­er­al elec­tion.
