Guardian columnist Tony Fraser, Law Association president Martin Daly SC and former head of the Public Service, Reginald Dumas are among the facilitators at a four-day Government workshop at Coco Reef Hotel, Tobago. A release from the Government's press secretary Garvin Nicholas said the workshop would begin today after the Cabinet meeting at the same venue. It ends on Sunday.
Fraser would speak on the topic Government and Media Relations; Daly on the topic Separation of Powers between the Executive, the Judiciary and the Legislature and Dumas on Governance for an effective and high performance Public Service.
Among the other facilitators are Joan Massiah, who, the statement said, would deal with Protocol and Dr Daniel Shapiro who will speak on Art of Negotiation, Negotiating and Getting to Yes. It is the first workshop by the new People's Partnership Government since it assumed office after the May 24 general election.
