A man re­sem­bling Ronald Bis­soo, who po­lice are search­ing for in con­nec­tion with a re­port of an acid at­tack was ar­rest­ed and lat­er re­leased by Ari­ma po­lice of­fi­cers yes­ter­day.The man was re­leased short­ly af­ter 4 pm af­ter his iden­ti­ty was con­firmed.

Po­lice be­lieve Bis­soo, 40, can help them solve the case where acid was thrown on Rachael Chadee, a moth­er of three, of La Ro­maine.

Chadee, 35 re­mains ward­ed at San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal un­der po­lice guard af­ter she was slashed across her face, doused with acid and forced to drink it by a man who in­vad­ed her La Ro­maine home on Feb­ru­ary 22. Chadee re­mains in a crit­i­cal but sta­ble con­di­tion and is un­able to eat, drink or speak since her throat was se­vere­ly dam­aged by the acid.
