ABC is new WASA Kaiso Monarch

An­tho­ny Bernard Charles, per­form­ing un­der the so­bri­quet ABC, walked away with the ti­tle of WASA Kaiso Monarch 2013 at the au­thor­i­ty's an­nu­al Kaiso and Ole Mas Com­pe­ti­tion last week.Hun­dreds of em­ploy­ees at­tend­ed at the show which was staged for the first time on the "WASA Greens" ad­ja­cent to the Sports and Cul­tur­al Club Build­ing, St Joseph.

ABC beat 12 con­tes­tants with a com­po­si­tion ti­tled No Politi­cian in what proved to be a keen­ly con­test­ed af­fair. Sec­ond place went to Glen­roy Sweet­wa­ter Williams with his song called WASA Ad­ver­tise­ment, last years' win­ner Rhol­da John fin­ished third singing Ah Leav­ing.

Act­ing CEO Ger­ard Yorke, along with Min­ster of Arts and Mul­ti­cul­tur­al­ism, Dr Lin­coln Dou­glas, at­tend­ed the event which once again show­cased the abun­dance of tal­ent among staff of the au­thor­i­ty.
