Toco Secondary and Queen's Royal College dominated the Secondary Schools Relay Championships at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva earlier this month. Toco was victorious in eight events while QRC captured six titles.
Toco, the former school of Olympic men's javelin gold medallist Keshorn Walcott, won the boys and girls open 4x800m, the boys and girls Under-15 4x400m, girls U-20 4x400m and three of the six shuttle relay events.
The North East champion school was also second in the girls U-17 4x100, girls U-14 4x200m, girls U-17 4x200m and girls U-17 4x400m and also runners-up in two of the shuttle relays. QRC secured the boys U-14 and 15 4x100m, boys U-14 4x200m, boys U-20 4x200m, boys open medley 1,000m and the boys U-20 4x400m.
Bishops Anstey, Port-of-Spain, grabbed four titles (girls U-14 and 17 4x100m, girls U-14 and 17 4x200m) while St Francois Girls College students went home with the girls U-17 4x400m, girls open medley 1,000m and girls U-20 4x100m.
