Kryztien Sharpe followed up his seven goal outing, inclusive of five penalties in T&T's demolition of Bahamas 15-4 with a six-goal burst hard fought 15-12 win over host Jamaica when water polo action continued on Saturday at the 28th edition of the Caribbean Free Trade Association Championships, at the National Stadium Pool, Independence Park, Kingston, Jamaica on Saturday night.
Joseph Herrera added four valuable goals for T&T while David West netted three and Adam Alexis, two in the win to push T&T's record o 2-0.
Team manager Sheldon Bhawanie speaking after the win said it was a hard fought game with the teams being even through the first three quarters". It was only in the last quarter that T&T came alive with hole attack Sharpe and hole defense Herrera stuffing in three apiece.
The young T&T team had to fight for every inch as the Jamaicans played a smart game, but in the end T&T's momentum was too much for the Jamaicans to withstand.
