For­mer work­ers of Ca­roni (1975) Lim­it­ed like my­self have been wait­ing too long for the hous­ing lots of­fered to us in the VSEP pack­ages. Last year, on­ly a frac­tion re­ceived theirs but what about the thou­sands more who are still wait­ing?Our an­ces­tors, our par­ents and our gen­er­a­tion have toiled on these lands and made im­mea­sur­able sac­ri­fices to shape this na­tion. The lands are once again over­grown with bush. Madam Prime Min­is­ter, when will it be ready? We ask to­day for what we have agreed to.

We have been laid-back and silent for too long. Our si­lence does not mean we are ig­no­rant of what is go­ing on. How long again must we wait?
