Ac­tion in the F&E Di­a­mond Unit­ed host­ed T20 Tour­na­ment known as the (DPL) con­tin­ued over the week­end with teams show­ing form as places for the play­offs nears.In Group B Pills & Be­yond Su­per Kings came up against Cel­lar placed Juice Crew. Su­per Kings won the toss and choose to bat first and amassed 153 for four in their al­lot­ted 20 overs led by fine knocks of 53 from Al­vara­do Bryce and 35 from Ran­ga Latchana.In re­ply Juice Crew was hum­bled for 92 all out in 18.1 overs with Both of Su­per Kings Left Arm spin­ners do­ing the dam­age Damien Bin­wah tak­ing three wick­ets for 12 runs in three wick­ets for 16 runs in three overs. P&B Su­per kings won by 61 runs.

SJ Rapids back to full strength with reg­u­lar starters Evin Lewis and Nico­las Sookdeosingh re­turn­ing came up against La Ro­main Unit­ed.SJ Rapids won the toss and choose to bat first and amassed 205 for eight in their al­lot­ted 20 overs with Tim­my Sub­naik Top scor­ing with 46.He was ably sup­port­ed by Nico­las Sookdeosingh 40 and Evin Lewis 21 with Bran­don Bohla pick­ing up 2/19 in two overs.La Ro­main was hum­bled for 140 all out in 18 overs with Suresh Sookdeosingh (fa­ther of Pow­er­gen open­ing bats­man Nico­las Sookdeosingh) pick­ing up three wick­ets for 28 runs in four overs. In Group A Tarou­ba Sports with the In­clu­sion of Pow­er­gen Sports Club Cap­tain Gre­go­ry Ma­habir in their line up came up against Des­tiny 11 in a match re­duced to 15 overs per side.Tarou­ba Sports won the toss and bat­ting first post­ed a chal­leng­ing 146-6 in 15 overs with con­tri­bu­tions from Shi­va Dook­ie 54 and Ryan Ou­dit 29, Mar­celle Jones picked up 2/17 in two overs. In re­ply Des­tiny 11 was on­ly able to reach 129 for five in their al­lot­ted 15 overs.Mar­celle Jones was the on­ly Bat­man to reach dou­ble fig­ures scor­ing 92 not out. Gre­go­ry Ma­habir was the pick of the bowlers claim­ing 3/17 from three overs. Tarou­ba won by 17 runs.
