I am born and bred in Wood­brook, 66 years ago. My busi­ness is in Wood­brook. I be­lieve the scrap­ping of the new west POS plan is pure­ly a bat­tle be­tween Jack Warn­er and Lee Sing. Af­ter the gang lords meet­ing fi­as­co, Jack de­cid­ed to teach Lee Sing a les­son. A great new work­ing plan for West POS fell by the way­side to prove a point: Jack big­ger than Lee Sing. Full Stop. Does not mat­ter that the bulk of the peo­ple are af­fect­ed. That mil­lions of our trea­sury has been wast­ed. The mes­sage is "Don't mess with Jack." The plan was great, need­ed a bit of tweak­ing to get it right, that's all. Pay at­ten­tion cit­i­zens, there is a lot more of this to come. Hap­py 50th an­niver­sary.
