The last re­main­ing team with a 100-per cent win­ning record in the 2012 BGTT First Cit­i­zens Sec­ondary Schools Foot­ball League (SS­FL) Cham­pi­onship, Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege, will go up against one of its most dif­fi­cult tests this sea­son, third-placed Na­pari­ma Col­lege, at the Man­ny Ramjohn Sta­di­um, Mara­bel­la. The fea­ture match will kick off at 5 pm, fol­low­ing a clash be­tween cham­pi­ons Shi­va Boys and Pleas­antville, which will be­gin at 3 pm. The open­ing round two match is a re­play of the open­ing day match when Pre­sen­ta­tion eased past Na­pari­ma 3-0, with J'van Pon­ti­f­let, An­gel Williams and Shack­iel Hen­ry all find­ing the back of the net. Both teams have since been on a strong run of form. Af­ter suf­fer­ing its sec­ond loss on the third match day (2-0 to cham­pi­ons Shi­va Boys), Na­pari­ma has won three straight, scor­ing a to­tal of 14 goals, while al­low­ing on­ly one. Pre­sen­ta­tion (18 points) has al­so been both eco­nom­i­cal both in de­fence and in at­tack, scor­ing 17 goals and con­ced­ing just two since the sea­son be­gan.

It is off a nar­row 1-0 win over Shi­va on Sat­ur­day, with the win­ning ef­fort com­ing from the team's re­li­able strik­er Hen­ry, who scored in the 10th minute for his 10th goal in the six match­es. Fourth-placed St Bene­dict's will be ex­pect­ed to pick up full points when it hosts bot­tom team Moru­ga, at La Ro­maine, from 3.45 pm. Up North, St An­tho­ny's Col­lege will al­so be ex­pect­ed to pick up full points in its trav­els to QRC, for the 3.45 pm clash. QRC, which sits fifth in the sev­en-team stand­ings has failed to pick up any points play­ing at home this sea­son, as its on­ly win and draw, were se­cured when it trav­elled to Diego Mar­tin (3-1) and St Mary's (2-2), re­spec­tive­ly, in the past two match days. The Tigers, mean­while, has in­creased its un­beat­en record since the start of last sea­son to 25 match­es, with a 5-2 vic­to­ry at home over Diego Mar­tin North, on Sat­ur­day. Go­ing in­to the sec­ond round of match­es, new leader Ari­ma North Sec­ondary, will be buoyed by its thrilling come-from-be­hind 4-3 vic­to­ry over El Do­ra­do East, on Sat­ur­day, as it takes on St Au­gus­tine Sec­ondary in a key East Zone fix­ture, at the Lar­ry Gomes Sta­di­um, Ari­ma, from 3.45 pm.

The two teams al­ready drew 1-1 in the league this sea­son, and grant­ed the re­sult re­curs, both San Juan North and El Do­ra­do East, which sits just one and two points off the pace, re­spec­tive­ly, will have the chance to again take top spot in the zone. But, as with Ari­ma and St Au­gus­tine, San Juan North and El Do­ra­do East al­so played to a 1-1 stale­mate in the sea­son open­er last month. The resched­uled match be­tween Trin­i­ty Col­lege East and St Au­gus­tine on Mon­day failed to kick off due to a lack of match of­fi­cials.In Cen­tral, new leader Ch­agua­nas North is ex­pect­ed to re­main on top of the stand­ings at least for an­oth­er round when it takes on sec­ond-from-bot­tom Tabaquite, in Ch­agua­nas, from 3.45 pm. Ch­agua­nas North stunned pre­vi­ous leader Cara­pichaima East 2-1 in a thrilling en­counter, on Sun­day, putting it a point over the lat­ter at the top of the stand­ings. Af­ter trail­ing from a sec­ond-minute "Caps" goal, Ch­agua­nas found a late equal­iz­er from David Mal­oney be­fore Jaron Humphrey stunned Home­land Gar­dens with a win­ning ef­fort with two min­utes left in the match. Sec­ond will play third when Cou­va West trav­els to Cara­pichaima to take on Cara­pichaima North, at the same time, with the for­mer hav­ing the chance to re­take the lead with a win, grant­ed Tabaquite pulls off an up­set in its match. In To­ba­go, the orig­i­nal match day-one round of fix­tures, which was sched­uled to play ear­li­er last month, will now be played to­day. Joint leader Scar­bor­ough Sec­ondary will face Sig­nal Hill at the Dwight Yorke Sta­di­um from 5 pm, fol­low­ing Ma­son Hall and Spey­side's open­er at the same venue, from 3 pm.
