Four dif­fer­ent play­ers were on tar­get as Joe Pub­lic slammed Boss FC 4-0 in their lat­est East­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion clash to close in on top spot on Sat­ur­day.

Ker­ron Reid (16th), Ken­na Grif­fith Os­bourne (47th), Ker­natea Mor­ris (45th) and Julien Nathan (66th) were all on tar­get for the "East­ern Li­ons" who im­proved to joint sec­ond with La Hor­quet­ta SA on 27 points each from 13 match­es, two be­hind lead­ers Mal­abar FC which has a match in hand.

Two days ear­li­er, Boss whipped WASA 3-1 while La Hor­quet­ta SA?and Mal­oney drew 1-1.

In the race for pro­mo­tion from the First Di­vi­sion, Richard See­ta­hal fired in the lone goal as Tu­na­puna Ti­tans edged Pin­to Unit­ed 1-0 to stay sec­ond on the ta­ble with 30 points from 16 match­es, sev­en be­hind T&T Pris­ons which has played a match less while LA Hor­quet­ta XF won by de­fault from Ath­leti­co SI to re­main third with 29 points.
