Songwriter/pan composer Anthony "Lexo" Alexis has now joined with Jason "Peanuts" Isaac as his lyricist for Panorama 2012. With the strains of 2011 music still in the air, the veteran composer, who formed a formidable team with Len "Boogsie" Sharpe for six years, is upbeat about his new link. "I feel honoured to work with Jason "Peanuts" Isaac," Alexis told T&T Guardian. Jason, who has own music firm JPI Music Inc, of Brooklyn, USA, is also upbeat about having Alexis on board, and is looking forward to a fruitful union.
Both men are getting down to brass tacks on the 2012 composition called Confusion. Isaac is himself an outstanding composer, leading the pack in 2009 with Pan Redemption. The year before he unleashed Ten Commandments of Pan which raised eyebrows. Among his many songs are Hard Wine, Jamboree, Vibes of a Madman and, in 2011, Ruction. It has been a tough road for the Brooklyn-based composer, who's expected to work with Roger Israel's Hole In the Wall studio in Diego Martin. Preliminary work is expected to start shortly.
