The Ari­ma Town Hall on Sorzano Street was trans­formed in­to an art gallery last Mon­day as artist Richard Mar­tinez and some of his stu­dents dis­played their work. The ex­hi­bi­tion is part of the 123rd an­niver­sary of the Char­tered Bor­ough of Ari­ma.Four­teen artists com­bined their re­cent work for the open­ing of the week-long dis­play. May­or Ghas­san Youseph seized the op­por­tu­ni­ty at the ex­hi­bi­tion open­ing to men­tion that a date for the re­place­ment of the his­toric Ari­ma Di­al would be an­nounced in due course.

He added: "We want to make sure that it is done cor­rect­ly and it would be some­thing that every­one would be proud to look at."He said that ve­hi­cles head­ing south on Queen Street must ei­ther head west on­to Broad­way or go in an an­ti-clock­wise di­rec­tion around the Di­al, if they wish to pro­ceed fur­ther down Queen Street.Youseph ex­plained: "There would be a strict no-park­ing en­force­ment on Queen Street, once the Di­al is re­placed."
