The com­pe­ti­tion has be­gun in earnest on sea­son six of Dig­i­cel Ris­ing Stars, as 12 fi­nal­ists have been cho­sen to move on to the next round. They are Camille Co­mas, Ashish Baksh, Sandy Nars­ingh, Nicole Ram­paul, Reena Ram­saran, Dezi, Cris Quam­mie, Rosezan­na Her­nan­dez, Tri­cia Bruce, Janique Charles, Jean­nine Clarke and Den­nett Smith. These fi­nal­ists have all shown ex­tra­or­di­nary tal­ents that el­e­vat­ed them above hun­dreds of oth­er hope­fuls and brought them one step clos­er to their dreams of be­ing T&T's next Dig­i­cel Ris­ing Star.

Fol­low­ing in the foot­steps of such no­ta­bles as Er­i­ca Samuel, Kay Allen and Neval Chate­lal, the lucky win­ner will take home the grand prize of $100,000 while the sec­ond and third place win­ners will win $60,000 and $40,000 re­spec­tive­ly. Of course, to re­alise those dreams, the con­tes­tants will need votes, and view­ers are re­mind­ed to keep vot­ing for their favourite singers and the chance to win great prizes from Dig­i­cel.
