Win­ner of the 2011 An­chor­age Pop Rock Awards, The Last Minute band, with lead fe­male vo­cal­ist Marge Black­man, daugh­ter of the late Ras Shorty-I, had the judges and crowd at its unique style of do­ing cov­er songs. The band com­pris­es of all Chris­t­ian mu­si­cians and singers from east Trinidad. Since cop­ping the ti­tle, the band has per­formed at Shak­ers on D Av­enue, and has been re­ceiv­ing nu­mer­ous in­vi­ta­tions to per­form at restau­rants.
