Dwight Quin­tero emerged the star play­er for El Do­ra­do East Sec­ondary as his two goals came off blun­ders by op­pos­ing goal­keep­er Ro­mario Ro­maine, which helped his team seal a 3-0 win over Trin­i­ty Col­lege East in the East Zone in the BGTT/First Cit­i­zen Sec­ondary Schools Foot­ball League, yes­ter­day.

This was in the open­ing match of a dou­ble-head­er played at the Lar­ry Gomes Sta­di­um in Mal­abar, Ari­ma.

Play in the first half was even­ly matched un­til Quin­tero scored the open­er a minute be­fore half­time. He com­plet­ed the goal af­ter Ro­maine was un­able to hold on to the ball de­spite a bril­liant save mo­ments be­fore.

Bethelmy, who is El Do's sec­ond lead­ing goal-scor­er with six be­hind team­mate Shaquille Bertrand (8), got the Blue Thun­der's sec­ond item, 19 min­utes in­to the sec­ond ses­sion, con­nect­ing a penal­ty. Quin­tero's sec­ond item was si­m­il­iar to his first with keep­er Ro­main again be­ing un­able to se­cure the ball prop­er­ly and the for­mer man­aged to slip the ball past him off the re­bound. Quin­tero re­mains the third high­est scor­er for "El Do" with his dou­ble mov­ing his tal­ly of goals to five. Over in To­co, the hosts held San Juan North, to a 2-2 draw.
