Soca Princesses captain Anique Walker returned from her one-match suspension with a vegeance as she netted seven times in her team's 17-0 mauling of St Kitts/Nevis in their final Caribbean Football Union Group B qualifier at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva on Wednesday. It was the second double-digit victory for the Soca Princesses over the hapless Kittians inside four days, after an 11-0 thrashing in their first encounter at the Warner Park Sporting Complex, Basseterre on Sunday night which sealed a spot in the CFU second round qualifying series with Jamaica, Bahamas and Guyana. Despite being assured of a CFU second round spot from which three will qualify for the Concacaf tournament, Walker and her team-mates showed little pity on the visitors as the captain hurried her team into a 4-0 lead inside the first 15 minutes with goals as early as the third, fourth, 12th and 14th minutes before she added second-half items in the 51st, 59th and 76th minutes to take her tally to ten from three matches.

However, she is five goals shy of team-mate and prolific striker Khadidra Debesette for the campaign after she banged in a hat-trick in the 17th, 22nd and 44th to follow up on her beaver-trick from Sunday.

There were also braces for Zoe Swift (31st, 85th) and Khadidra's twin-sister, Khadisha Debesette (37th,, 48th) while Rhonda Guiseppi (19th) and Zoe's big sister, Victoria Swift (68th). An own-goal from Kittian Katelyn Forbes, four minutes into the second half, added to the onslaught as T&T ended with maximum 12 points, and 48 goals scored with none against. The Soca Princesses, coached by Stephan De Four, also blasted Dominica 13-0 on September 14, while they won against the same opponents 5-0 away.

Meanwhile, the Dominicans two victories came against St Kitts/Nevis 5-0 and 2-0. From the second round series the top three teams will advance to the Concacaf finals, the final round of qualification for next year's FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan. T&T is seeking to qualify for its second straight FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup having hosted the 2010 edition.

Speaking after Wednesday's match, De Four said he was very satisfied with the team's progress.

"At the beginning of the qualifiers we set ourselves certain goals and so far we have achieved them.

"We now have the second phase where we have to step up our preparations." With regards to preparations for the second round carded for next month at a venue yet to be determine, De Four said he will be hoping to have all his overseas players available. "I expect to have last year's FIFA Under-17 World Cup duo Liana Hinds and Diarra Simmons join the team along with newcomer Donika Edwards."

De Four also noted that when the team resumes training in the next few days the focus will be gym work and maintaining fitness as majority of the players will be missing due to duties with other teams.
