The Na­tion­al Gas Com­pa­ny of Trinidad and To­ba­go (NGC) is con­tin­u­ing its sup­port as a ma­jor spon­sor to the 2012 Bo­cas Lit Fest. NGC con­tributed $250,000 to the in­au­gur­al Lit Fest ear­li­er this year but has come on board as ti­tle spon­sor for the three-year pe­ri­od 2012-2014, con­tribut­ing $500, 000 a year. NGC sees its spon­sor­ship of the Bo­cas Lit Fest as a ma­jor op­por­tu­ni­ty to iden­ti­fy with an un­tapped cul­tur­al area in T&T and re­gion­al­ly. As an in­dige­nous, home-grown busi­ness en­ti­ty op­er­at­ing in the gas-based en­er­gy sec­tor, NGC seeks ways to sup­port and pro­mote events that are im­por­tant to the cit­i­zens of T&T.

NGC sees its role as go­ing be­yond nat­ur­al gas. The com­pa­ny is com­mit­ted to sup­port­ing those el­e­ments which make us tru­ly Trin­bag­o­ni­ans. NGC en­cour­ages a vol­un­teerism ethos among its em­ploy­ees as part of its Rep­u­ta­tion and Re­la­tion­ship Am­bas­sador Pro­gramme. Of in­ter­est is the in­te­gra­tion of the NGC staff body in­to the ac­tiv­i­ties of the 2010 fes­ti­val where staff mem­bers vol­un­teered to as­sist with sev­er­al ac­tiv­i­ties of the fes­ti­val.

The Bo­cas Lit Fest is about ex­pres­sion and NGC is proud to spon­sor the lit­er­ary arts which bring our true per­son­al­i­ty to the lo­cal and re­gion­al stage.
