On Rowley's claim on Sunday that a COP member, who was appointed to the Judicial and Legal Service Commission (JLSC), had had been "in jail" Toney said: "Let's get more information on this." He said he was unaware of such a COP person. Rowley had said he had information on the issue to that effect and had not yet checked it out. Yesterday, officials of the Attorney General's office said any conviction that Rowley may have been referring to was quashed by a Privy Council judgment.
