To­ba­go’s pre­mier jazz ex­pe­ri­ence is back and big­ger than ever. Beach­front Jazz 2026 will light up the Mag­dale­na Grand Beach & Golf Re­sort from April 30 to May 3, as part of the To­ba­go Jazz Mu­sic and Golf Week­end. This year’s fes­ti­val promis­es a vi­brant cel­e­bra­tion of Caribbean jazz rhythms, artistry and is­land spir­it.

Fol­low­ing the over­whelm­ing suc­cess of Beach­front Jazz 2025—de­scribed as “a cul­tur­al move­ment” and “a bea­con of world-class mu­si­cal ex­cel­lence in the Caribbean”—the 2026 edi­tion aims to raise the bar even high­er.

Last year’s event fea­tured un­for­get­table per­for­mances from re­gion­al and in­ter­na­tion­al stars, in­clud­ing Elan Trot­man, Free­town Col­lec­tive and Gram­my-nom­i­nat­ed pi­anist Bob Bald­win, whose To­ba­go de­but was hailed as “gen­uine and heart­warm­ing.” His genre-blend­ing set, which fused jazz, funk, Latin, and Brazil­ian rhythms, left au­di­ences spell­bound.

This year, Beach­front Jazz wel­comes an­oth­er elec­tri­fy­ing line­up of per­form­ers. Among them are Caribbean folk and jazz bassist Ron Reid, vo­cal pow­er­house Ter­ri Lyons and the soul­ful so­pra­no Llette­sha Sylvester, along with sev­er­al sur­prise acts yet to be an­nounced. The fes­ti­val promis­es four days of mu­si­cal ex­cel­lence, set against the breath­tak­ing back­drop of To­ba­go’s coast­line.

The of­fi­cial launch of Beach­front Jazz 2026 took place on Sep­tem­ber 30 at 7.15 am, giv­ing view­ers a first look at the artistes, be­hind-the-scenes in­sights, and a taste of the mag­ic to come.
