Tobago’s premier jazz experience is back and bigger than ever. Beachfront Jazz 2026 will light up the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort from April 30 to May 3, as part of the Tobago Jazz Music and Golf Weekend. This year’s festival promises a vibrant celebration of Caribbean jazz rhythms, artistry and island spirit.
Following the overwhelming success of Beachfront Jazz 2025—described as “a cultural movement” and “a beacon of world-class musical excellence in the Caribbean”—the 2026 edition aims to raise the bar even higher.
Last year’s event featured unforgettable performances from regional and international stars, including Elan Trotman, Freetown Collective and Grammy-nominated pianist Bob Baldwin, whose Tobago debut was hailed as “genuine and heartwarming.” His genre-blending set, which fused jazz, funk, Latin, and Brazilian rhythms, left audiences spellbound.
This year, Beachfront Jazz welcomes another electrifying lineup of performers. Among them are Caribbean folk and jazz bassist Ron Reid, vocal powerhouse Terri Lyons and the soulful soprano Llettesha Sylvester, along with several surprise acts yet to be announced. The festival promises four days of musical excellence, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Tobago’s coastline.
The official launch of Beachfront Jazz 2026 took place on September 30 at 7.15 am, giving viewers a first look at the artistes, behind-the-scenes insights, and a taste of the magic to come.
Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or simply looking for an elevated island experience, Beachfront Jazz 2026 is your destination for rhythm, relaxation, and revelry.
