Staffers from the latest Courts Business Solutions (CBS) showroom at Gulf City Mall, Lowlands, are promising to become a vital resource for commercial clients in Tobago.
The staffers have promised to provide access to competitive pricing, expert advice, and dependable service, all under one roof.
And the island’s business sector is excited about this prospect following the official launch of the showroom last Friday.
The event brought together key stakeholders to celebrate the expansion of Courts’ footprint in Tobago, promising enhanced access to quality products and services for business clients across the island.
Courts Business Solutions director Shivan Ojah Maharaj spoke of the company’s commitment to supporting business growth in Tobago.
“We are thrilled to officially open this showroom as part of our ongoing effort to better serve the business community here in Tobago,” Maharaj said.
“Our goal is to provide a one-stop destination where businesses can find everything they need, from office equipment to commercial appliances, with the quality and service they expect from Courts.”
Maharaj added, “By expanding our presence, we aim to contribute to the growth of Tobago’s businesses, helping them operate more efficiently and competitively.”
CBS is the business service arm of Unicomer (Trinidad), the parent company of Courts. It provides commercial grade products and customised solutions to customers.
Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association president Reginald MacLean, who was on hand for the launch, spoke about the positive impact the new showroom would have on the island’s tourism sector.
“This new Courts Business Solutions showroom comes at a pivotal time when our tourism industry is recovering and growing,” MacLean noted.
“Having easier access to essential products means our hotels, restaurants, and other tourism-related businesses can upgrade their operations more seamlessly, which ultimately benefits our visitors and the entire community.”
Meanwhile, Tobago chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce,
Curtis Williams, praised Courts Business Solutions for their strategic investment in Tobago.
“This launch is a testament to Courts’ confidence in the potential of Tobago’s business environment,” Williams said.
“It sends a strong message that Tobago is open for business and ready for growth.”
He added, “By bringing quality products closer to local businesses, Courts is helping reduce operational challenges and boost productivity. This is exactly the kind of partnership that drives economic development.”
Those present had the opportunity to tour the showroom, where they surveyed a wide range of business appliances tailored to meet the diverse needs of the island’s commercial sector.
