Hilarians get together for annual luncheon

The an­nu­al lun­cheon for grad­u­ates of Bish­op Anstey High School, St Hi­lary’s, last Sat­ur­day, took on spe­cial mean­ing as this year the school is cel­e­brat­ing its 103rd an­niver­sary.

The event was co­or­di­nat­ed by Wan­da Bernard and a team com­pris­ing Car­olyn John, Deb­o­rah King, Shon­da Moore-Howard, Joanne Dupigny, Wendy Rocke and Mar­guerite Moore.

Do­na­tions were re­ceived for two char­i­ta­ble caus­es—Kind for Grena­da/Car­ri­a­cou in aid of hur­ri­cane re­lief and Let’s Chair the Hall to equip the school.

Hi­lar­i­ans from al­most every year-group at­tend­ed, in­clud­ing 99-year-old for­mer Bi­ol­o­gy teacher Au­drey Mc­Dowall, her­self a Hi­lar­i­an, who was ac­com­pa­nied by her daugh­ter Mar­garet.

Rep­re­sent­ing the new gen­er­a­tion of Hi­lar­i­ans were head girl Imani Sesep­khek­iu and her deputy Ke­lis Bou­caud.
