In cel­e­bra­tion of In­ter­na­tion­al Com­post Aware­ness Week (May 2026), In­crease Kids Agro World (IKAW Eco Con­scious Com­mu­ni­ty) vis­it­ed two schools, Na­pari­ma Girls’ High School and Pic­ton Pres­by­ter­ian Pri­ma­ry School in San Fer­nan­do, to ed­u­cate chil­dren on food waste re­duc­tion and (black gold) com­post­ing.

This ini­tia­tive was de­signed to merge lit­er­a­cy with en­vi­ron­men­tal stew­ard­ship, en­cour­ag­ing stu­dents across the Vic­to­ria Ed­u­ca­tion Dis­trict and San Fer­nan­do to ex­plore the “mag­ic” of com­post­ing.

As part of the com­pa­ny’s com­mit­ment to agri­cul­tur­al ed­u­ca­tion, the chil­dren learned the trans­for­ma­tion of or­gan­ic waste in­to “black gold,” il­lus­trat­ing how sim­ple ac­tions at home and school can heal the plan­et.
