In cel­e­bra­tion of the 40th an­niver­sary of diplo­mat­ic re­la­tions be­tween the Re­pub­lic of Ko­rea and T&T, as well as Ko­rea’s Na­tion­al Foun­da­tion Day, the Em­bassy of the Re­pub­lic of Ko­rea host­ed a cul­tur­al event show­cas­ing artistes from both na­tions.

The event, held at the Hy­att Re­gency in Port-of-Spain, brought to­geth­er mem­bers of the ju­di­cia­ry, le­gal fra­ter­ni­ty, politi­cians, and busi­ness lead­ers for an evening of cul­tur­al ex­change and cel­e­bra­tion.

Among the stand­out per­for­mances was pan­nist Keishaun Julien, who de­liv­ered a spec­tac­u­lar per­for­mance on the na­tion­al in­stru­ment, the steel­pan, cap­ti­vat­ing the au­di­ence with his skill and en­er­gy.

Al­so fea­tured was Erin Yoon, who flew in from New York to per­form a tra­di­tion­al Ko­re­an fan dance. Dressed in Ko­rea’s na­tion­al at­tire, Yoon moved grace­ful­ly across the stage, earn­ing en­thu­si­as­tic ap­plause from the au­di­ence.

The evening’s per­for­mances re­flect­ed the shared spir­it of friend­ship and cul­tur­al ap­pre­ci­a­tion that has grown be­tween Ko­rea and T&T over the past four decades.
