In celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and T&T, as well as Korea’s National Foundation Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted a cultural event showcasing artistes from both nations.
The event, held at the Hyatt Regency in Port-of-Spain, brought together members of the judiciary, legal fraternity, politicians, and business leaders for an evening of cultural exchange and celebration.
Among the standout performances was pannist Keishaun Julien, who delivered a spectacular performance on the national instrument, the steelpan, captivating the audience with his skill and energy.
Also featured was Erin Yoon, who flew in from New York to perform a traditional Korean fan dance. Dressed in Korea’s national attire, Yoon moved gracefully across the stage, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The evening’s performances reflected the shared spirit of friendship and cultural appreciation that has grown between Korea and T&T over the past four decades.
