Kuchela, the Cen­tral Fete, lived up to its hype on Fri­day, Feb­ru­ary 6, as thou­sands of rev­ellers poured in­to the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre in Bal­main, Cou­va, for a night of non­stop mu­sic and cel­e­bra­tion. Cool­ers in hand and par­ty spir­its high, fete lovers be­gan ar­riv­ing ear­ly, ready for a mem­o­rable evening.

The fes­tiv­i­ties kicked off with Veekash Sa­hadeo, who warmed up the crowd be­fore Kes the Band took the en­er­gy sev­er­al notch­es high­er with an elec­tri­fy­ing per­for­mance. Chut­ney fans were treat­ed to a mu­si­cal feast as Sunil Sam­sun­dar rolled out hit af­ter hit, keep­ing pa­trons on their feet.

The night reached its peak just af­ter 1 am when Ray­mond Ram­nar­ine and Dil-e-Nadan stormed the stage, de­liv­er­ing a cap­ti­vat­ing set that had the au­di­ence singing along and danc­ing un­til the fi­nal note was played.
