Maintaining camaraderie in Grande

In an at­tempt to en­sure com­mu­ni­ty ca­ma­raderie de­spite the chal­lenges of COVID-19, coun­cil­lor for San­gre Grande North East Paul Mon­go­las host­ed two vir­tu­al com­pe­ti­tions: Know Your Coun­try (Artis­tic Ex­pres­sion, Spelling Bee and Quiz) and Tal­ent (Show and Tell, Sto­ry Telling and Tal­ent Show).

At the prize giv­ing cer­e­mo­ny on Oc­to­ber 29, par­tic­i­pants were re­ward­ed for their ef­forts. Among the prizes were: tablets, one of which was pur­chased by Roy­al Bank, KFC vouch­ers, Mario's vouch­ers, Re­pub­lic Bank gift cards, sta­tionery items from East­ern Cred­it Union, book bags from Ojoe’s, ac­tiv­i­ty books from the San­gre Grande Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion, ham­pers from Massy Stores, cer­tifi­cates, tro­phies and medals.
