Mille Fleurs guests get taste of Glenmorangie Single Malt

The fine art of Scotch Whisky tast­ing and pair­ing was ex­pe­ri­enced re­cent­ly by a se­lect few spe­cial­ly-in­vit­ed guests at an ex­clu­sive and rare Glen­morang­ie tast­ing ex­pe­ri­ence host­ed by AS Bry­den and Sons Lim­it­ed.

En­chant­ed by the tran­quil am­bi­ence at Mille Fleurs, sit­u­at­ed at 27 Mar­aval Road, St Clair (around the Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah), guests were treat­ed to a wealth of knowl­edge and his­to­ry on the Glen­morang­ie Sin­gle Malt range of Scotch Whiskies as shared by Moët Hen­nessy’s Mar­ket Man­ag­er for the Caribbean, Alexan­dre Helaine.

Ad­di­tion­al­ly, guests en­joyed the fab­u­lous food pair­ings of 12 by Rishi Restau­rant Chef, Rishi Ra­moutar, which in­clud­ed the un­mis­tak­able all too ap­petis­ing flavour of fried king­fish with cre­ole sauce jub jub up­on en­try, along with egg­plant lasagna rolls and Mur­tani but­ter with pas­try pin­wheels in the air for starters—de­lec­table ap­pe­tiz­ers paired with Glen­morang­ie cock­tails fol­lowed by paratha pot pie with shrimp and wild hog served po­len­ta as the main course, end­ing the fare with lemon­grass ice cream with scor­pi­on pep­per and hon­ey roast­ed al­monds for dessert.
