Soca and steelpan came together to entertain and engage thousands gathered at the Queen’s Park Savannah on Sunday February 1, as BH Entertainment hosted the annual “Pan On The Greens” experience.
The top soca acts in the nation graced a smaller Savannah stage adjacent to the North Stand and had the massive audience singing and dancing from late afternoon until just before midnight.
With just three days to transform the John Cupid Village into a space fit for Pan on The Greens 2026, BH Entertainment and Nali Management pulled off an incredible feat, paving the way for a successful and thoroughly entertaining, alternative Panorama semi final experience.
“It was not an easy task by any means,” BH entertainment director, Benny Hatem explained, “but we accepted the challenge of creating a new experience for those who wanted more of a party and concert atmosphere, and those who prefer the flat open space on The Greens, instead of the towering North Stand with its labyrinth of steps and crews, coolers and pulsating rhythm sections.”
Over 5,000 patrons partied on The Greens that evening with more than 20 different crews and companies purchasing spaces for their brands and their employees. Flag crews waved for performers and competing Pan orchestras alike, as live Soca performances were halted in order to broadcast each Panorama showcase on a massive screen onstage (with live video provided by TTT) and heard through the audio system as well. Amplia ensured the Internet feed remained stable with Next 99.1 and TTT contributing their expertise to the broadcast as well. Patrons enjoyed live entertainment from a host of top Soca and Chutney stars, including but not limited to: GBM Neutron, Shall Marshall, Dingaz, KMC, Iwer George, Lady Lava, Coutain, Lyrikal, Swappi, This is Kash and Miguel Maestre, Bunji Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons, Ravi B, GI, Machel Montano and more.
One of the biggest turnouts for The Greens in years, the event also attracted appearances by the Minister of Culture and Community Develelopment, Michelle Benjamin; Minister of Public Utilities, Barry Padarath and a host of NCC executives and industry stakeholders like former legends bandleader Mike Antoine; Naya George and publicist Adanna Asson.
