San Fernando Yacht Club was the place to be on Sunday August 23 as Raft-A-Bout 2026—Bacchanal Bay delivered a day packed with excitement, creativity, fierce competition and plenty of good vibes.
From the moment patrons arrived, the atmosphere was electric, with teams ready to show off their rafts, costumes and competitive spirit.
The action kicked off with the traditional Raft Race competition, where teams battled for top honours. Sweet Men sailed away with first place, followed by No Limits in second and Punchy in third.
But it wasn’t all about speed. Creativity and authenticity also took centre stage. The Black Pearl captured the title of Most Creative Raft, while Suckers Krew claimed Most Authentic Raft.
The unfortunate distinction of First Raft to Sink went to Kratos, sinking their dream and plans to win the race. Meanwhile, Fatel Raft-Zac had plenty to celebrate, taking home both Best Dressed Team and Best Team Spirit, even though they also sank at the starting point.
The competitive action continued on the water with the Jet Ski Race. In the 1401–1900cc Stock Class, Mark Luke sped to first place, with Sham Nicholas finishing second.
The Modified/Open Class saw Christopher Callendar claim the top spot, followed by Darren Sinanan in second and Jayden Deorath in third. Shawn Marshall finished fourth, while Christian Khadaroo rounded out the top five.
And because no bacchanal is complete without a few wild challenges, patrons also went head-to-head in burger-eating and beer-drinking competitions, adding even more laughs and lively competition to the festivities.
When the engines cooled down, the party kept going. Live entertainment from TEMPA, Rawytee Ramroop and other performers kept the crowd moving, with patrons singing, dancing and soaking up the festive atmosphere.
As the night rolled on, the energy reached another level as patrons danced the night away in a sea of foam, bringing Raft A Bout 2026 to a suitably memorable and fun-filled finish.
