The spir­it of Christ­mas came alive in Pan­choo Lane, Bound­ary Road, San Juan, as LSA Health­care Ser­vices Ltd, in part­ner­ship with the Share Dig­ni­ty Foun­da­tion, host­ed its an­nu­al Christ­mas par­ty for chil­dren in the com­mu­ni­ty.

Now in its 22nd year of ser­vice, the com­pa­ny marked one of its largest turnouts yet, wel­com­ing more than 150 chil­dren for a day de­signed to spark joy, en­cour­age cre­ativ­i­ty and build com­mu­ni­ty con­nec­tion.

The event, held on De­cem­ber 6, fea­tured a re­freshed con­cept that blend­ed tech­nol­o­gy, fes­tive fun and hands-on en­gage­ment. From the mo­ment fam­i­lies ar­rived, chil­dren were drawn to the ar­ray of in­ter­ac­tive gam­ing sta­tions—from clas­sic Su­per Mario chal­lenges to im­mer­sive vir­tu­al re­al­i­ty ad­ven­tures. Jum­bo board games like Con­nect 4 and Jen­ga added to the ex­cite­ment, while a colour­ful art cor­ner quick­ly be­came one of the most pop­u­lar at­trac­tions among kids, teens and even adults ea­ger to join in the cre­ativ­i­ty.

No Christ­mas cel­e­bra­tion would be com­plete with­out San­ta Claus, and this year was no ex­cep­tion. San­ta made his rounds with cheer­ful en­er­gy, en­sur­ing every child felt the mag­ic and warmth of the sea­son. The dis­tri­b­u­tion of treats and gifts added to the smiles, re­in­forc­ing the par­ty’s pur­pose of mak­ing the hol­i­days spe­cial, es­pe­cial­ly for chil­dren who may not oth­er­wise re­ceive such fes­tiv­i­ties.

The at­mos­phere was made even more fes­tive by a range of food sta­tions that kept every­one hap­pi­ly fu­elled through­out the day. Pop­corn and cot­ton can­dy ma­chines added a nos­tal­gic car­ni­val touch, while an ice-cream truck and snack coun­ters de­light­ed younger guests. A dou­bles ven­dor—al­ways a crowd favourite—de­liv­ered a flavour­ful lo­cal twist to the cel­e­bra­tion.

Be­hind the scenes, LSA Health­care’s ded­i­cat­ed team worked for weeks to bring the event to life, en­sur­ing it was safe, or­gan­ised and un­for­get­table. Their ef­forts re­flect the com­pa­ny’s long-stand­ing com­mit­ment to giv­ing back, par­tic­u­lar­ly to un­der­served com­mu­ni­ties. As the or­gan­i­sa­tion cel­e­brat­ed its 22nd an­niver­sary, the lead­er­ship em­pha­sised that the event em­bod­ies their mis­sion of in­clu­sion, com­pas­sion and com­mu­ni­ty up­lift­ment.

With each pass­ing year, the Christ­mas par­ty ex­pands in scale and im­pact—demon­strat­ing how cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­i­ty, when paired with gen­uine care, can trans­form sim­ple mo­ments in­to trea­sured mem­o­ries.

As fam­i­lies de­part­ed with full hearts and wide smiles, it was clear that the event de­liv­ered what it promised: joy, hope and hol­i­day mag­ic for the chil­dren.
