I am ad­vo­cat­ing that we take the war on Gaza out of an Is­rael-Pales­tine-Hamas con­text and in­stead lo­cate it in the de­ter­mi­na­tion of Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca to for­ti­fy its dom­i­na­tion of world civil­i­sa­tion.

The colonis­ers and im­pe­ri­al­ists will not al­low the slight­est weak­en­ing of that hold es­tab­lished 500 years ago when Eu­rope moved out of its space, trav­elled east and west, and con­quered, im­pris­oned, and mur­dered those who showed any re­sis­tance against the oc­cu­pa­tion of their lands and con­fis­ca­tion of their re­sources.

Not sat­is­fied with the phys­i­cal con­trol ex­ert­ed, Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca es­tab­lished the ba­sis to jus­ti­fy the ra­tio­nale for its ac­tion by deem­ing the con­quered civil­i­sa­tions as be­ing those of peo­ple who were (and con­tin­ue to be) less than ful­ly hu­man and there­fore sub­ject to con­quest. As an ex­cuse and foil to their col­lec­tive con­science, the in­trud­ers took to them­selves “the White Man’s Bur­den” to civilise the rest. 

The most ca­su­al glimpse at world his­to­ry over the 500 years will re­veal the mul­ti­ple oc­ca­sions when the said West­ern world es­tab­lished its dom­i­nance in Chi­na and In­dia, the civil­i­sa­tions of the in­dige­nous peo­ples of the West­ern Hemi­sphere, the cap­ture and shar­ing of Africa amongst West­ern Eu­ro­pean coun­tries, and, in the in­stant ex­am­ple, the pos­ses­sion of the Arab and Mus­lim worlds with the dis­in­te­gra­tion of the Ot­toman Em­pire.

In the in­stance of Pales­tine, it was the de­ter­mi­na­tion first by Britain, heav­i­ly sup­port­ed by the USA, to trans­port the Jew­ish peo­ple, scat­tered over west­ern Eu­rope, six mil­lion of them slaugh­tered by Hitler’s Ger­many, to take over Pales­tin­ian lands on which its peo­ple have lived for two thou­sand years. That dis­pos­al by Britain of its post-WW11 man­date was soon fol­lowed by the ag­gres­sive and un­end­ing West­ern sup­port for the Zion­ists, who made it their ob­jec­tive to take con­trol of Pales­tine.

That is the con­text I am ad­vo­cat­ing that those of us stand­ing on the side­lines and look­ing on should adopt to be bet­ter in­formed as we wit­ness what is hap­pen­ing in Gaza and greater Pales­tine.

The re­bel­lion by Hamas in Oc­to­ber 2023 must be seen as yet an­oth­er at­tempt by a free­dom-fight­ing group to shake off the yoke of 75 years of civil­i­sa­tion­al de­struc­tion by Is­raeli vi­o­lence, mur­der, dis­place­ment of hun­dreds of thou­sands of Pales­tini­ans, and oc­cu­pa­tion of their lands. Af­ter the 1948 war by Is­rael against the na­tive Pales­tini­ans, in which 450 of their vil­lages were sacked, 750,000 na­tive Pales­tini­ans were dri­ven in­to refugee camps in neigh­bour­ing Arab states, nev­er to re­turn.

Is­rael’s Prime Min­is­ter Ben­jamin Ne­tanyahu’s re­lent­less push­ing of Gazans south and now out of Rafah is de­signed to re­move Pales­tini­ans com­plete­ly from their coun­try and end for all times any talk of the so-called two-state so­lu­tion. Against such a back­ground, the read­er is bet­ter po­si­tioned to in­ter­pret the self-right­eous in­dig­na­tion of the present by the said Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca com­bine who cre­at­ed Is­rael to sub­serve their pur­pos­es. 

Here is a very hard-to-re­fute in­di­ca­tion of the dom­i­na­tion eth­ic. With­in hours of Is­rael’s de­c­la­ra­tion of it­self as a state, it re­ceived over­whelm­ing recog­ni­tion from the West. Over the last few weeks, there has been yet an­oth­er de­nial of the right of Pales­tine and its peo­ple to state­hood by Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca, notwith­stand­ing the fact that 143 of the 193 mem­ber states of the Unit­ed Na­tions have recog­nised Pales­tine among the na­tions of the world.

Mak­ing the West very ag­i­tat­ed is the fact that mil­lions of youth in their so­ci­eties, young peo­ple who have been con­sci­en­tized to the his­to­ry of dom­i­na­tion by their an­ces­tors and are ris­ing on uni­ver­si­ty cam­pus­es, march­ing through the cap­i­tals of West­ern civil­i­sa­tion, and re­belling with a hu­man­ist per­spec­tive. These young peo­ple of an­oth­er gen­er­a­tion un­der­stand the na­ture of the his­tor­i­cal ad­van­tage tak­en by their an­ces­tral civil­i­sa­tion. 

To keep the world or­der of the day alive, in ad­di­tion to the brute force be­ing ex­ert­ed on the stu­dents and those who are see­ing through the very ob­vi­ous con­tin­u­ing de­sire for to­tal con­trol of the world civil­i­sa­tion of the 21st cen­tu­ry, the vi­tal­ly im­por­tant pro­pa­gan­da war is be­ing ful­ly ap­plied.

Notwith­stand­ing the fact that 35,000 Pales­tin­ian women and chil­dren in­clud­ed have been slaugh­tered and an­oth­er 75,000 in­jured with West­ern weapons and am­mu­ni­tion, the Pres­i­dents and Prime Min­is­ters of Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca West have pulled out the an­ti­semitism card to de­fend Is­rael.

In the US, the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives has al­ready passed a bill to in­crease re­stric­tions on free speech against Jews and the Gov­ern­ment in Is­rael. The West­ern me­dia have been as­sured al­lies in the war to se­cure the con­trol of world civil­i­sa­tion by the West. I re­peat: what’s hap­pen­ing in Gaza is about the re­ten­tion of Eu­ro-Amer­i­can dom­i­nance over the world.

Pres­i­dent Biden dis­played his decades-old undy­ing sup­port for Is­rael with an im­pas­sioned “This ha­tred of Jews must stop,” re­fer­ring to the protests.

So to read­ers, and with­out apol­o­gy, I am ad­vo­cat­ing that you see the war against Pales­tine for what it is: an at­tempt by the West to con­tin­ue to dom­i­nate the world out­side of Eu­ro-Amer­i­ca through the use of dev­as­tat­ing 2,000-pound bombs, through pro­pa­gan­da, and by us­ing Is­rael as a proxy in the war.
