Trinidad and Tobago’s Hailey Pysadee was crowned Miss India Worldwide at the international pageant held in Trinidad last night, bringing the title home as contestants from around the world gathered for the highly anticipated competition.
Pysadee emerged as the overall winner after competing against representatives from more than 30 countries, earning the top honour in a showcase of beauty, culture and international talent.
The victory gives Trinidad and Tobago a major moment on the international pageant stage and adds to the country’s growing profile as a destination for major cultural and entertainment events.
Pysadee’s win also provided a home-country highlight for the competition, which brought together women representing different countries and communities of Indian heritage for an evening celebrating culture, confidence and Caribbean hospitality.
