Guardian Me­dia’s Women Em­pow­er­ment (WE) mag­a­zine host­ed an If­tar din­ner in part­ner­ship with Rasam Restau­rant at Heart­land Plaza, Ch­agua­nas, on Thurs­day. The event was the cul­mi­na­tion of its Nisaa of Is­lam se­ries, which fea­tured in­spir­ing women in T&T’s Mus­lim com­mu­ni­ty. Or­gan­ised by Guardian Me­dia’s Events Man­ag­er Kristy Ram­nar­ine, its fea­tured speak­ers in­clud­ed for­mer Miss T&T Uni­verse and Peo­ple’s Part­ner­ship sen­a­tor Nicole Dy­er-Grif­fith and Hum­ming­bird Gold re­cip­i­ent Shi­han Mar­va John-Lo­gan.
