Agostini’s Ltd’s newly appointed director, Nicholas Sinanan

Nicholas Sinanan has been ap­point­ed as a di­rec­tor of Agos­ti­ni’s Ltd.

In a no­tice post­ed on the Trinidad and To­ba­go Stock ex­change web­site, Agos­ti­ni’s re­port­ed that Sinanan’s ap­point­ment to the group’s board of di­rec­tors took ef­fect from Jan­u­ary 6, 2025.

Sinanan is an at­tor­ney with ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence in cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial law, with his area of spe­cial­i­ty be­ing cor­po­rate fi­nance, the Agos­ti­ni’s no­tice stat­ed. He is cur­rent­ly the man­ag­ing part­ner and head of the cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial prac­tice group at the law firm John­son, Ca­ma­cho & Singh, and is a no­tary pub­lic of T&T.

Sinanan is a grad­u­ate of Hol­born Col­lege, Lon­don, where he ob­tained a Bach­e­lor of Laws with Ho­n­ours. He al­so holds a post­grad­u­ate diplo­ma in pro­fes­sion­al le­gal skills from City Uni­ver­si­ty, Lon­don. He has been ad­mit­ted to the bars of both T&T and Eng­land and Wales and is a mem­ber of the Law As­so­ci­a­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go and the Ho­n­ourable So­ci­ety of Gray’s Inn.

In an un­re­lat­ed note, Trinidad Ce­ment Lim­it­ed has con­firmed Hum­ber­to Gutier­rez Pra­do has re­placed Edgar Cam­pos Piedra as the com­pa­ny’s group fi­nance man­ag­er.

The ap­point­ment took ef­fect on Jan­u­ary 3, 2025.

In a not­ed to the TTSE, it was stat­ed that Gutier­rez pre­vi­ous­ly held the po­si­tion of group trea­sury and con­sol­i­da­tion man­ag­er for the TCL Group.

The no­tice said Cam­pos held the po­si­tion of group fi­nance man­ag­er from No­vem­ber 1, 2019 and will take up an­oth­er po­si­tion with­in the Ce­mex Group.
