Carib Brewery Ltd yesterday launched its Good Samaritan Christmas Cheer Bus initiative which will be rolling out across T&T, spreading the joy and magic of the season.
The initiative will run until December 14 using the themed Bus from Carib’s Good Samaritan Christmas TV commercial.
The Carib team will be journeying across the country sharing Christmas cheer and spreading acts of generosity that include free gas cards, grocery vouchers, free street food, volunteering at an animal shelter, visiting & grooming the elderly and bringing Santa with Christmas goodies to domestically displaced children.
“We want to amplify the campaign’s themes of Good Samaritan-ism, kindness, generosity and lending a helping hand, thereby injecting a much needed dosage of good news and positivity into our national community. It’s important to remind people that Christmas is a time to spread love, joy and hope especially to those that are really struggling,” a release stated.
“Over the next few weeks we will reward the everyday Good Samaritans in our communities as we celebrate the everyday heroes that have touched our lives. We want to hear and share their stories of selflessness, kindness and compassion. We also hope to spark a chain of kindness by emphasising the message of ‘Paying it forward’,” it stated.
