The Food Dis­trib­u­tors As­so­ci­a­tion (FDA) has elect­ed its ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tee for the up­com­ing term, with Jake Gillette, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of West In­di­an Traders Ltd (WITL), ap­point­ed as chair­man.

The new­ly elect­ed ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tee com­pris­es:

• Dirk Marin – Aca­do Foods

• Sharon Gun­ness-Balkissoon – Aca­do Dis­tri­b­u­tion

• Sheena Con­stan­tine – A.S. Bry­den

• Chris­t­ian Cabral – Massy Dis­tri­b­u­tion

In a state­ment, the as­so­ci­a­tion said the ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tee rep­re­sents a cross-sec­tion of T&T’s food dis­tri­b­u­tion in­dus­try and will work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly on mat­ters af­fect­ing the sec­tor and its stake­hold­ers.

The Food Dis­trib­u­tors As­so­ci­a­tion looks for­ward to strength­en­ing en­gage­ment across the in­dus­try and sup­port­ing ini­tia­tives that con­tribute to the con­tin­ued de­vel­op­ment of the food dis­tri­b­u­tion sec­tor.
